There were few great post over this few days that are very much worth reading.

HPT started video blogging, I'm looking forward to his new trading videos announced for his YouTube channel.

I had nice winning month until I made -150 pips day. I got to say that days like that are more rare than ever and that I can see improvements in preventing them.

For year end I can say that it's my best year so far with -19% total money loss LOL.

It's best year because I had 6 positive months and losses are smaller and smaller. I noticed that after I additionally funded account in June bringing it to three times bigger size than ever before things started to become better. It's harder to lose bigger amount of money than smaller and winners are sweet, so my trading improved. Yes I still trade mainly against the trend, average down and move stops, but I can see subtle differences and they are my best motivators so far. I can see change to the better.

There was the news and my broker didn't widen the spread on gbp/usd as usually to 20 pips. So when I saw the move and regular 2.5 pips spread I jumped in. It moved 15 pips more down before I was in while I clicked two times on my platform. I tried to move predefined take profit but it caught me before and that was the good thing.

If I was going in the trade before break out on either side, I should exit the same moment break out happened on for me the wrong side. I was probably in my mental mode of managing loses by letting them go and than thinking. Great thing is that I took -15 stop, I felt great doing the right thing.

This is gbp/usd after the news. It was also gamble going in before direction is clear.

I had many clever things to say when I lost first 100 pips.
But than after three last trades I had -194 pips more in the red and I managed to exit with -53 pips on them. Now I don't have clever thoughts, I just trade bad. All little bad things about my trading that I try to cover up come out in day like this.
